To enhance Technion high educational programs related to national defense and security needs, the Advanced Defense Research Institute (ADRI) implemented a special program, providing degree in Master Science in Systems Engineering for selected IDF officers.
The program deepens the technological knowledge of IDF officers and provides scientific and professional daily work tools that meet the research and development challenges. This program is fundamental to the officers’ long-term careers in the IDF, and the knowledge they gain is so vital for the defense of the State of Israel.
The program is funded by a generous donation Dr. Bob Shillman, from the US, and has a complementary funding by MOD / DDR&D-MAFAT, approved personally by Dr. Danny Gold Head of the Defense Ministry’s Directorate of Research and Development (DDR&D-MAFAT).
